Application Developer

Reporting to the Application Development Manager, the incumbent will beresponsible for the design and implementation of complex database-driven applications that can both meet our client’s business needs and deliver high performance.  This individual is experienced developing variety of applications from web-based user applications to back-end database applications using the MS .NET framework.  He/she must be able to understand end-user requirements in order to develop an application capable of meeting them.   The incumbent will have a strong understanding of the technologies available, as well as their underlying principles. The Application Developer is familiar with client-side display and processing of information, as well as server logic and database interactions. He/she can write fast queries using normalized data and right indices on the right fields.

Duties and Responsibilities
·         Provides input to application design and requirements
·         Designs clean, modular, reusable code structures using the following technologies in a Microsoft .NET environment:
o        ASP.NET
o        C#
o        VB.NET
o        AJAX
o        SQL
·         Develops complex, dynamic database applications using stored procedures, triggers and queries
·         Performs unit testing and supports other testing activities
·         Creates technical documentation as required
·         Participates in ad hoc special projects as required, and other tasks as assigned

Required Skills and Competencies
·         Post-secondary education in a relevant field - Computer Science or equivalent experience; Microsoft certification is an asset
·         Minimum 3 years of experience in an IT/software development environment with a strong focus on complex database applications and demonstrated success as a developer
·         Working knowledge of Microsoft .NET framework, languages & tools, including:
o        HTML / CSS (3 years)
o        ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET (2 years)
o        Custom Web Controls in .NET (1 year)
o        AJAX (1 year)
o        SQL Server 2000 / 2005 (3 years)
o        SourceSafe or other version control system (1 project)
o        Experience with Microsoft Reporting Services, Integration Services & Analysis Services is an asset
·         Understanding of interactive marketing technologies; previous experience an asset
·         Highly organized with an ability to work under tight deadlines and shifting priorities
·         Ability to work well in a team focused environment and equally as adept working independently with minimal supervision
·         Strong written and oral communication skills
·         Professional and presentable with a strong business acumen
·         Strong attention to detail
·         A positive attitude and a strong desire to have fun at work

BSS Integration - Manager

Role Summary

Looking for BSS integration expert who is responsible for defining and managing the interface between ERP and Billing system through analyzing the whole interface process.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Provide consulting on interface between ERP system and Billing system by analyzing application interfaces and interactions
  • Maintain skills in SAP-RM CA application process design and configuration, application design, development, integration, testing and deployment and SAP application technical architecture
  • Knowledge transfer to local employee is required
  • Provide local training for BSS to project members
  • Plan and manage Application Assessment and Requirements activities
  • Create complex conceptual designs, including application interfaces and interactions
  • Identify and monitor interdependencies between various application implementation activities

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Minimum 5 years work experience in SAP at a major consulting firm or system integration company

Preferred Skill Requirements:

  • Strong skills and knowledge in SAP-RM CA in Telco Industry
  • Hands on SAP-FI - Billing is preferred
  • Project experience in SAP-RM CA or SAP-FI

Hardware Quality Assurance Engineer

As an Engineer you will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive, design and bring to market innovative consumer products. You will work closely with an internal inter-disciplinary team, and outside partners to drive key aspects of product definition, execution and test. You must be responsive, flexible and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment. The Role this EE position is within the Hardware Product Engineering team. This will be a hands-on position to support all design validation and reliability aspects of design, development, and transfer to manufacturing; including alternate source component selection and qualification. You will drive system validation activities for new products development, to implement design changes for sustaining products, to resolve technical issues for manufacturing process, and to perform failure analysis for field returned products. - Perform DFM and DFMEA reviews within electronic design group, with CM and suppliers - Develop system test plans for design validation and EVT/DVT builds - Define test methodology and test coverage to assure product reliability - Monitor quality metrics from design validation, reliability, EVT/DVT builds, ramp up and field return data Requirements: - BS/MS EE - 8+ year’s hardware design or testing experience on portable consumer electronic devices - Knowledge of functional block testing such as audio, display, wireless and enclosure - Knowledge of signal integrity and timing on PCB layout - Experience to use test instruments such as oscilloscope and logic analyzer - Experience on reliability test methodologies such as HALT, HASS, ORT - Exposure to high volume manufacturing for portable, battery powered, wireless devices such as cell-phones This position will require international travel

Software Quality Assurance Analyst





The following skills and requirements are mandatory:

·         Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent
·         0 to 2 years experience in testing of web applications
·         Solid QA competency in software engineering with experience in the full software development life cycle (SDLC)
·         Experience with Agile methodologies a plus
·         Experience with test-driven development and automated testing
·         Experience with unit-test frameworks, version control, and build automation
·         Experience with Web Services
·         Experience with Selenium testing software highly desirable
·         Motivation and time management skills
·         Strong technical abilities
·         Must have passion for new technologies and attention to detail
