Play a leadership role in significant projects

Essential Skills:
Business Analysis experience within project-based roles
Strong analytic and problem solving skills
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to manage relationships with all levels of Business and IT stakeholders
Personable team player

Desirable skills:

Experience in Wealth Management industry
Strong knowledge of Custodial Services
Superannuation experience and accreditations including ASFA100, RG146
Strong Consulting skills – able to translate concepts into clear business requirements
Familiarity with market-leading superannuation and/or banking applications
Strong Business Process mapping skills e.g. MS Visio,  ARIS
Ability to succeed within high-pressure, delivery focused environments
Knowledge of best-practice frameworks and methodologies to deliver multiple project streams

Exp: 0 to 5 years

Construction Manager

Required Experience & Skills

Previous experience in working on ‘live’, multifaceted projects is a must.
Significant experience in a Project / Construction Management role with an established contractor or client side entity is a essential.
As this is a ‘client side’ role, your presentation, communication and influencing skills should be excellent.
You should be very capable of driving design consultants, project management firms and contractors towards meeting the tight time frames.
Due to the complexity of this project and in some cases the ‘live’ nature of certain stages, you should be able to demonstrate previous successful outcomes when you’ve been placed in challenging environments.

This Construction Manager position represents a unique opportunity in that the successful applicant will enjoy a portfolio of established projects and clients, with scope to develop new opportunities across the civil, mining, and LNG sectors.


To be successful in this role you will need to have a minimum of fifteen years experience in Civil Engineering Construction, with at least 5 of these being at a Construction (or Area) Management level. You will have an in-depth understanding of the construction sector, and will preferably possess major project experience across Department of Main Roads and mining infrastructure projects.


Candidates with the following project exposure will he highly regarded:

Earthworks (bulk and detailed)
Roadworks (DMR and Haul/Access Roads associated with mine and LNG developments)
Dams, evaporation ponds and/or tailings dams
Early works for industrial developments
Creek Diversions
Drainage
Water supply
Further to this you will possess skills in:

Management of staff, subcontractors and project stakeholders
Cost control and financial management
Contract Administration
Estimating and tendering experience.
Developing existing and new business opportunities

You will enjoy a fulfilling role which incorporates the delivery of a diverse range of significant projects, while also providing scope for you to develop existing or new business opportunities. In return for your skills you will be rewarded accordingly.
