Hardware Test Engineer

Description:

The Test Engineer will contribute to the execution of Hardware Test Systems for Networked Energy Services (NES) product is an advanced, bi-directional Automated Meter Reading system
Requirements:
    3 – 5 years of product development and test experience including Engineering Validation Tests (EVT) and Design Validation Tests (DVT).
    Ability to read schematics and PCB layouts. Some layout knowledge would be an advantage.
    Ability to follow strict ANSI / IEC standards guidelines and test procedures to determine product compliance.
    Familiarity with general IEC / ANSI as well as IEC / ANSI Electric metering standards, and metrology is highly desirable.
    Accuracy and an eye for details, in test execution, product performance under test, analyzing test data, and generating test report.
    Knowledge and ability to effectively use test equipment like oscilloscopes, Function generators, data acquisition devices, programmable environmental chambers. Test application software.
    Good communication skills, written as well as oral. Ability to write and present clear and concise reports.
    Solid understanding of electrical circuits, power and power measurement.
    Ability to setup test apparatus for verifying product functionality.
    Good organizational skills, data collection and presentation.
    Broad knowledge of test and measurement methods.
