IT Engineer / IT Services - Windows Server - Healthcare sector
A new vacancy arisen for an experienced IT Engineer to be responsible for the daily internal support of application systems and the IT service desk management system, including service availability, service continuity and incident / problem management. IT Engineer will be supporting external customers facing technical issues.
IT Engineer / IT Services - Key Responsibilities
- implementation and support of the IT Services function on a day to day basis
- support of end user hardware / application deployment and support
- monitor and triage of external customer technical support calls
- assist in supporting all internal IT systems and servers including Exchange, Oracle and Clusters
IT Engineer / IT Services - Qualifications and Experience
- Windows Client and Server Installation
- Intel based hardware knowledge
- Active Directory and ideally general Network knowledge
- VMWare
- Tape Backup Utilities ideally Backup Exec
- excellent verbal and written communications skills
- MCP or MCSE qualification will be an advantage
- experience within Healthcare sector will be highly desirable
