Project Manager – Systems Integration

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum five years experience overseeing systems integration and product development
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field that focuses on technical/system project management.
  • Qualified candidates must possess a minimum of five to seven years of experience in world class organizations, preferably in the medical field.
 
SKILLS/ABILITIES:


  • The candidate should also have a familiarity with Quality Systems Standards (ISO 9000).
  • This resource must also have a cursory understanding of system integration, managing outsourcing activity, and software development.
  • The candidate must display sound leadership skills and the proven ability to manage multiple projects.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Major responsibilities will focus on the application of project management skills to address all business objectives associated with the release of new products.
  • Work very closely with Marketing on new product opportunities, to support a solid understanding of all internal business implications, and external vendor negotiation parameters
  • Work in conjunction with Regulatory Affairs to support 510(k) submissions, foreign licensing, and all regulatory based objectives.
  • Work very closely with R&D/Engineering to fully understand all elements of design control and the technological challenges associated with the project.
  • Perform project leadership with cross-functional teams, transforming project objectives into a working plan. This will entail the coordination of regular meetings to apply work breakdown structures and network development with all required organizational resources.
  • Provide updates, maintaining full visibility of the project status. This effort will entail a continued focus on maintaining compliance with the planned scope, scheduling, and cost objectives for the project
