About the Job
-Daily engineering functions of tungsten scrap reclaim departments. 
-Overseer and driver of major productivity, quality improvement programs and capital project management. 
-Use of statistical technique and PQI methodology for problem solving, quality control, and process development. 
-Provide technical assistance to the Refractory Chemical maintenance and manufacturing departments to assist in troubleshooting equipment, instrumentation, and process problems. 
-Participate in Refractory Chemical environmental and safety activities to ensure a safe and environmentally compliant work place. 
-Participate in Refractory Chemical engineering, maintenance, accounting, and production cross-functional team (CFT) with responsibilities, including improving equipment performance, lowering maintenance costs, and productivity improvements. 
-Work closely with accounting to understand and improve operating variance. 
-Maintain department BOM's. 
-Assist with and participate in maintaining ISO certification. 

Requirements
- Strong proven technical abilities. 
- 0-2 year's process equipment and instrumentation experience desired. 
- Strong proven technical abilities. 
- Computer skills, especially with Excel, Word, Minitab, Access, 
- Must be able to communicate and work effectively with all manufacturing personnel. 
- The candidate will require some computer skills, will attend occasional customer meetings and may involve in some travel among customer locations. 
- Demonstrate the ability to logically approach and solve problems. 

Education & Experience Requirements: 
BS or higher degree in chemical engineering.
