You will be in a key leadership role that will provide decision support to ensure profitable growth through analysis of sales activities
Deliver reporting and best practices to Sales Team which will enable effective control of sales fixed costs and controllable to drive customer targets for operating profits and net sales
You will be looked upon to influence and provide recommendations on how to best deploy sales resources
Manage account profit and loss and provide analysis on optimal profit deliver
Work closely with trade investment group to deliver best practices / ROI models
You will be key player providing financial analysis related to strategic and tactile initiatives

Entry-level position suitable for a highly motivated, detail-oriented, service-focused individual who will monitor, maintain and complete client billing as well as participate in the reporting and account maintenance processes. 

The Analyst position supports client teams or regional staff by assisting with the development and tracking of budgets, cash flow projections and execution of billing and receivables as well as to highlight key issues and exposure items that may impact profitability. The Financial Analyst will also be involved in process improvement projects and ad hoc reporting in support of business needs. 

Responsible for activity code lifecycle (open, lock, reconcile, close) (Client Finance Only) 

Review key financial metrics and proactively resolve issues (unreleased invoices, inactive activities, persuasive evidence, unbilled, A/R, Gross Margin, Contribution margin) 

Initiate routine and non-routine journal entries to ensure an accurate categorization of reserves/absorptions, allocations and appropriate WIP maintenance 

Responsible for timely and accurate client billing, and the collection of support documentation as needed 

Calculate run rates to monitor and manage financial progress against budgets 

Generate and distribute system reports. Analyze data and provide commentary as appropriate. 

Highlight potential issues and recommend possible solutions

Understand requests, question or suggest alternatives when appropriate

Ensure complete, accurate (footing) and properly formatted documents prior to manager review

Ability to manipulate data and transform for analytical use 

Ability to explain and translate finance reports/documents to client teams/regional staff 

Show judgment on when to elevate issues/requests and when to resolve independently 

Suggest process improvements to benefit Capability 

Initiative, responsibility and follow through for 'owned' work a must 

Leverage Capability resources to resolve issues 

Prioritize and streamline tasks to ensure accuracy and efficiencies 

Qualifications
Basic knowledge and proficiency of MS Office, Word, Excel (including Pivot Tables). Familiarity using financial reporting systems (Lawson, Business Objects, Crystal). 

Understand basic accounting concepts (debits/credits, revenue recognition, reserves/absorptions) 

Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with diverse groups agency-wide 

Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask 

Accountability and flexibility a must 

Ability to work in a fast paced environment 

Strong organization and communication skills 

Positive team player attitude 

Minimum of one - two years of professional experience in a Finance or Accounting position

Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business 

0 to 4 year degree in Finance or Accounting
2 + years of Sales Finance, FP&A, Accounting experience
Up to 20% Travel
