SAS Customer Insight Analyst / SAS Marketing Analyst Overview:


You will work with extremely large, customer focused data sets and will continuously improve your SAS analysis skills.


The Person:


This role would be ideally suited to a candidate with proven commercial experience in SAS (or SQL). This experience MUST have been gained in a direct marketing or customer orientated marketing / insight position or a Retail Bank or Financial Services Enviornment. Your skills will include:


- SAS: Ideally, you will be confident with SAS Base, SAS Macro etc and be able to utilise statistical modelling techniques e.g. CHAID, Clustering, Regression. Candidates with a less advanced level of SAS will be considered on the basis of having solid SAS experience in a Marketing / Insight / Direct Marketing / Retail Banking / Financial Services environment. Candidates without SAS, must display solid experience with SQL


- SQL (if no SAS or in addition to SAS skills): Ability to work with SQL, Relational Databases and Data Mining is a bonus, however not essential. Experience with Teradata would also be beneficial but again, not essential


- Experience in Financial Services / Retail Banking environments, with a basic knowledge of financial products, such as Credit Cards, Loans, Current Account etc is beneficial, however candidates with transferable skills from telecoms or retail will be considered


- Communication: You will liaise with numerous departments on your findings and will be comfortable working with team members to help shape future direct marketing strategies
