Embedded C Linux
Leading modems and remote monitoring product designer and manufacturer which are used with GSM, UMTS and CDMA mobile phone networks.
Will be responsible for developing new capabilities for their wireless telecommunication products.
The successful Embedded Software Engineer will have:
Linux and other Open Source development experience
Embedded C development experience
Ability to understand technical requirements and risks
3G and IP Networking experience
Ability to work in multiple simultaneous projects and adapt to emerging customer requirements.
Experience with development of 3G or other routing systems
experience in version control and software QA systems

You will be responsible for the design and development of mobile phone and server based Linux software systems. The systems developed will be used to enhance the product offerings of comScore and will include new development.
Participate in the design and development of new systems to be incorporated into the existing collection and processing environment. Develop components that will run on thousands of mobile phones.
Develop enhancements to current solutions server solutions.
Guide group strategy and create action plans and goals.
Participate in ongoing research and evaluation of new related technologies.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
MUST have 1-3 years of experience in developing and supporting mobile applications.
Knowledge of J2ME in a Android or Blackberry environment is a must.
Experience with WAP Gateways is a plus
Experience with the development of applications that utilize the HTTP protocol is a plus.
Experience with the development of Linux applications is a plus.
Knowledge of reverse engineer software helpful
Knowledge of TCP/IP is a plus
Excellent oral, written and computer communication skills with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
