The successful applicant will be required to perform the following duties:
First-level support of site control systems, PLCs, SCADA and Production database systems
Assist with analysis and management of Electrical and Information Systems projects
User support and administration of site I.T systems, networks, and ERP
Ensure that server hardware, operating systems, and networks are available, secure and
operating efficiently
Ensure compliance with Premier Coal Information Systems policies and procedures
Applicants should have;
Formal qualifications in electrical engineering, computing, or a related discipline
Experience with programming PLCs and real-time control systems
Experience with RSLogix, Citect SCADA and Plant 2 Business
Experience supporting Microsoft Windows operating systems and TCP/IP networks
Excellent personal communication and organisational skills
Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, MS Access and MS SQL databases highly regarded
Experience with Oracle’s eBusiness Suite, PL*SQL, and reporting systems desirable
