Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, and systems.
Electrical and systems design engineering for personnel screening X-ray scanner systems.
AC & DC power calculation and distribution.
Support, design, and build system wiring design and layout.
Support, design, and building of test fixtures.
Participate in the development of systems test plan and procedures.
Support systems integration engineering with systems and electrical design, documentation, integration and testing.
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering required, Masters is highly desired.
5 plus years experience in the following areas:
Analog and industrial systems design engineering.
AC & DC power requirement calculations and distribution.
Low level signal and analog design.
System signal interface design and implementation.
Motion control systems design.
Analogue electronics expertise.
Firmware / FPGA design experience.
Must have excellent written and verbal skills, ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
