Work with clients to design and develop business applications using Visual Studio, ASP and ASP.NET (VB and/or C##), K2 Black Pearl and Sharepoint 2007
Support and enhance applications
Develop views, table structures using SQL server
SQL Server administration (SQL agent, linked servers, security, backups)
Design and develop application interfaces using web services, SQL views and stored procedures
Develop User Interfaces using .Net, MOSS and Infopath
Diagnose and troubleshoot application issues
Requirements
5 years minimum of software engineer experience
3-5 years experience with .NET and web development
SQL Server programming and server administration
Development and support of Microsoft applications
Experience with a structured methodology (worked in a full systems development lifecycle)
On call and overtime responsibilities
Experience interfacing applications with multiple data stores
Preferred Skills:
Technical Leadership
Solution Design
Solid understanding of relational databases and data models
Data Warehousing experience a plus
Experience with any or all of the following: Writing Microsoft (SOAP) Web Interfaces, Cognos ReportNet, DB2, Microsoft CMS, Visual Studio.NET, Visual Source Safe, Sharepoint, CMS, SQL Reporting Services
Strong multitasking skills
Ability to comprehend the big picture while understanding the details
Communication skills
Education/Experience:
BA or BS in Computer Science, CIS, or related field
