Electronics Engineer position highlights:
design new DC and Brushless DC motor controls/power electronics or adapt existing controls
according to customers' specifications
utilize CAD, document control and PD systems to develop and maintain product design documentation
perform electrical design of new motors; integrate electronics with the motor
review designs to ensure assemblies and parts meet design specifications
create circuit models, collaborating with outside suppliers
Electronics Engineer requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering AND
working experience with control systems and power electronics required
solid working knowledge of debugging power electronics circuitry/software, oscilloscopes, current
probes, meters, power analyzers
proficiency with mathematical modeling systems including Matlab, MathCad
proficiency working with Schematic entry tools such as PCAD or Orcad
experience working with modeling systems such as Pspice or MultiSim
thorough understanding of safetry industry standards (UL and EMI)
experience with rules-based circuit board design
good MS Office skills
team spirit
Electronics Engineer preferred skills:
exposure to motor control and/or motor design
background working with specification development for sub-contractors
familiarity with motor test dynamometers/instrumentation and motion control applications
working knowledge of C/C++, Visual Basic and PDM
