The Production Manager will passionately drive culture through improvement initiatives that will include employee engagement in safety, quality, efficiency. The Production Manager leads the daily manufacturing operations of the department consisting of a team of of 3 supervisors with a core workforce of up to 50 consisting of mechanics, line operators, (UOP's), and up to 100 assemblers to run RF sealers, Thermoformers, and Box Making work centers over 3 shifts to ensure that the manufacturing plan is executed in a manner that meets or exceeds quality, efficiency, and costobjectives of indirect labor and discretionary spending. He/She will ensure that the quality system is followed by ensuring that the products produced meet customer specifications. In addition,attracts, coaches, and mentorsassociates to develop a stong production team. Communicates and reinforces plant plans throughout the organization. Collaborates with the Lean Director and Champions to implement the Lean and Six Sigma Strategies.
