Job Summary:
Fundamental Duties and Responsibilities
· Develops, implements, deploys and maintains moderately complex web applications which are both internal and client facing.
· Is responsible for system implementation lifecycle stages, including some analysis, design, testing, and implementation.
· Designs and writes SQL, stored procedures, functions, views, triggers and creates tables.
· Assists in preparing specifications, user requirements, and training.
· Maintains company intranet and customer websites.
· Plays a role in driving customer service information technology strategies and consistently delivers results while effectively managing risks.
· Be able to manage enterprise “off-the-shelf” systems as well as customized development.
· Performs other duties and assignments as directed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
· Advanced knowledge of and experience in database systems, Visual Studio.NET, particularly VB.NET.
· Strong ability in problem solving, maintaining a Development environment and the ability to deliver on a deadline.
· Knowledge of database design principles and execution.
· The ability to deliver in a fast paced environment and to handle multiple, shifting priority projects.
· Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
· Strong Web design skills.
· Knowledge and good methodology of full project life cycle development and support.
· Hands on experience and proficiency using the following technologies:
- Intermediate knowledge of Stored procedures
- Knowledge of IIS administration
- Web services
- Advanced HTML
- Advanced Java Script
- Advanced VB.net
