The Financial Analyst will perform financial and
statistical analysis for our month end close process. This will include
performing detailed report analysis as well as developing and communicating
objective feedback to internal and external client base. This position will
also be responsible for analyzing reports and other interna
l and external
correspondence to ensure accuracy and completeness. Other responsibilities
include:
Perform all tasks for accurate and on-time
completion of corporate annual budgeting process including model development
and maintenance, timeline, communication of progress and report generation.
Prepare financial and productivity reports and
analysis including analyzing and/or compiling financial/productivity data from
multiple internal and external information systems
Prepare Third Party Payor Reimbursement rate
schedules and reimbursement terms
Audit and verify data completeness to ensure
accurate analysis and presentation
Complex financial analysis and modelling to drive
corporate decision making
Requirements
Successful candidates should possess:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
Administration
Extensive experience using complex databases,
spreadsheets and presentation software tools for budgeting and financial
analysis
Strong working knowledge of Excel
Knowledge of physician reimbursement
methodologies and physician billing/workload productivity measures preferred
Knowledge of Cognos applications preferred
