Quality Manager

  

Due to internal growth, we are looking for a highly motivated, technically capable individual to become our next Quality Manager. This position will oversee a group including: Quality Engineers, Supervisor and Technicians.

As the Quality Manager, you will be responsible on all Quality matters related to the Plant. As a division of a major international glass manufacture, our facility is a fast paced, Tier I environment and are looking for someone with a similar background.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

·         Implementing strategies and actions to improve key performance metrics (including Cost of Quality, Customer PPM and Launch Success)

·         Direct and develop the current Quality Engineers in the facility

·         Launch programs and interact with corporate business units and program tracking of launches

·         Lead cross-functional teams to problem solve and continuously improve current processes in the plant

·         Interact with customers to ensure plant is meeting expectations

·         Daily problem solving and reacting promptly to items related to launch and quality documentation

·         Lead all pro-active quality assurance efforts

·        

Requirements:

·         Bachelor’s degree

·         Minimum 5 years of experience in management capabilities in multiple disciplines of Quality with Automotive

·         Prior Experience from the Automotive industry in one of the following positions: Quality Manager, Senior Quality Engineer, Quality Launch Engineer, QC Manager, or a Quality Superintendent

·         Demonstrated effectiveness in a lean, result-orientated, team-drive, customer-focused management approach

·         Must have experience in TS16949

Preferences (the following are not required but would be highly preferred):

·         Experience with TPS

·         Experience with Shainin Red-X

·         Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt

·         CQE
