The Plant / Maintenance Engineer will assist the
Engineering and Services Team working cross-functionally between Manufacturing,
Science & Technology, and the Shop to identify, prioritiz
e, design, and
construct capital and expense projects that will lead to step change
improvements in process, product, and utility efficiencies reducing operational
costs. The Plant portion of the role will involve managing, controlling, and
supporting capital / expense projects throughout the site focusing in the
Electrical / Instrumentation disciplines. The position will launch, manage, and
maintain the Intools system for the site. The position will work with the site
Master Electricians to develop, manage, and maintain the power distribution
system for the site to support the growth plans for Compound Semiconductor
Solutions. The position will also gain experience in Civil-Architecture,
Chemical, and Mechanical systems. The Maintenance portion of the role will
involve supporting all areas of the site to resolve short and long term
maintenance issues.
Having exposure to this level of equipment and
engineering diversity as cited above is not required for the role, but the
candidates demonstrated ability to adapt and learn various functions in a
timely manner is critical. The candidate must be a highly motivated self
starter with demonstrated leadership, facilitation, problem solving,
communication, and engineering skills. 5-10 years of practical electrical /
instrumentation engineering experience within a chemical, pharmaceutical, or
food processing plant is required. Project Management, Lean Manufacturing,
troubleshooting skills, mechanical, and DCS / PLC experience would be a plus.

Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or
Instrument Engineering
