CRM Content Developer

As the CRM Course Developer & Instructor, you will help analyze, design, develop, and teach courses on cutting-edge Avanade solutions using Microsoft technologies for consultants worldwide.
You will be responsible for working very closely with the company's top CRM Subject Matter Experts in order to guide and develop the best scenario-based, lab-intensive training possible. Much of your time will be spent developing curriculum, harvesting and repackaging materials from Accenture and Microsoft, including simulations and labs, teaching courses either via webcasts or in person courses. You will maintain our CRM Community and Training portals. You will also work closely with the off-shore CRM Technical Content Developer to co-develop courses. You will provide consultative support and guidance to the CRM community. You will be a contributor on customer facing engagements, and assist regions in delivering CRM training to our external customers; you will maintain technical and field-relevant skills. This will consume 25-35% of your workload.

This position reports to the Manager of Design & Delivery.

Specific tasks:

Research, self-learn, design, and develop courses, webcasts, boot camps and related curriculum per year under tight deadlines, and manage incremental technology changes including:
Developing a course scope
Identifying SMEs
Researching and learning new technologies
Writing the course
Developing and testing labs
Conducting a beta teach
Teaching course (live or recorded)
Quality assurance, proofing and post-mortems
Providing instructor support as needed

Project manage course development
Work with the Curriculum Program Manager to ensure timely delivery of courses
Liaison with off-shore CRM Technical Content Developer to co-develop courses
Provide support to functional questions
Maintain course quality / course evaluation scores in all CRM courses of 4.0 or higher in a 1 - 5 scale in all areas of evaluation, including:
Course content
Recording instructor
Supporting instructor
Overall learning experience
Impact to skills

Package and edit courses using various media technologies
Participate in customer facing engagements
Assist field consultants in developing the proper skills in order to deliver efficiently and effectively
Provide technical support on customer facing engagements
Contribute ideas and foster teamwork within the larger GLD/CRM group.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Instructional Design training or equivalent experience
Experience with Instructional/course design for eLearning environments
Deep functional and technical acumen and understanding of Microsoft Dynamics CRM
Microsoft CRM Certification or at least 3 exams towards MS CRM Certification
2+ years experience in customer solution development and delivery with focus on CRM
Technical experience with Microsoft platforms and technologies.
Basic knowledge four or more of the following products:
SharePoint Portal Server
IIS
SQL Server
Exchange
Windows Server
Active Directory
.NET, XML, SOAP
Office/IBF, Outlook
BizTalk
SilverLight

Other Technical Skills: Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, technical background on MS technologies/trends

Excellent written and English language skills
Demonstrated customer service, communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Requirements:

Microsoft CRM Certification
Technical consulting or worked within a consulting company
Contact center solutions experience
Relevant industry knowledge
Knowledge of Articulate Studio products
Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
