Provide technical
leadership for the implementation of physical layer on a DSP. Technical
leadership includes
arriving at Work Breakdown Structure and providing
technical consultancy to junior engineers in design, development and testing
b) Estimate the effort involved given the
scope of a project
c) Develop architecture design, high-level
design and test strategy documents for the project
d) Hands-on involvement in the project
through the development of certain modules
e) Conduct reviews of detailed design
documents and code of team members
f) Lead a team of 2 to 4 engineers
Skill set required:
a) Knowledge of DSP architectures, such as
TI DSPs, Freescale DSPs
b) Experience in DSP implementation, such as
converting Matlab code, floating-point to fixed-point conversion, memory optimization,
profiling of code and performance optimization
c) Experience in testing with target boards
and debugging embedded systems
d) C/Assembly language
e) Experience of SDLC, estimation and
quality compliance
f) Handling small teams (Desirable)
g) Knowledge Software Defined Radio
(Desirable)
h) Knowledge of LTE (Desirable)
