The Middleware Application Administrator position requires self-motivation and technical
proficiency in the administration and configuration of application server/software including effective troubleshooting abilities. This position is focused on providing application administration and support to the designated application technology stack to ensure maximum uptime for Consumer Production Systems.
Production Admin level Knowledge in, WebSphere Application Server, WebSphere Portal Server, websphere Process server V ( 6.x ,7.x, 8.x)
Enterprise Service Bus (WESB) 6.2+
Build forge 7.1+ Inc. (RAFA)
Application server in clustered/ high available production environment
Installation and deployment of j2ee application, connecting and configuring back-end resources
Configuration and troubleshooting on cluster, Nodes, Cell, and DMGR
Global Security level configuration and Good analytical knowledge and performance tuning.
Scripting knowledge (either or all) : HTML, XML, JavaScript, PHP, VBA, Perl, Python, AWK, Shell Script
Database Skills (either or all)- MS SQL 2005/2008 , IBM –DB2, Oracle 9.x/10.x
Platform skills - Windows, AIX, HP Unix Linux, Sun Solaris,
Debugging skill in Java/J2EE, ASP preferable
Qualifications
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field or equivalent work experience. May hold entry-level or intermediate-level certification(s) in work field
