Sr. SQL DBA

Job Summary:

4+ year of SQL DBA experience

Must have experience in Enterprise SQL Databases
Strong in SQL Queries, Backup/Restore, Reporting, Profiler, Replication, Mirroring, Failover Clustering and Log shipping
 Strong knowledge in SQL Database Administration of medium to large Production environment.
Thorough understanding of Enterprise SQL Database.
Strong knowledge on SQL Queries, Backup/Restore, Reporting, Profiler, Replication, Mirroring, Failover Clustering and Log shipping.
Strong troubleshooting knowledge on Jobs, Blocks/Deadlocks, Logs, Performance Tuning and Optimization.
Monitoring of Database Servers health.
Good understanding of Incident, Problem and Change Management.
Good remote troubleshooting skills.
Excellent Customer handling skills.
Excellent listening skills

SQL DBA & Developer

 Database Design & Development, Direct Marketing, Customer Data & Systems, ETL, Data Auditing, System Testing, Performance Monitoring and Tuning, Report Production, Database Administration, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Triggers, User Defined Fucntions, DTS, SSIS/SSAS, CLR, DT Exec and Utilities.  (SQL Server 2008, VB.net, C#, HTML would be advantageous but not essential)

The Role:                               An integral member  of a small dynamic Direct & Database Marketing team: being responsible for the database ensuring that the relevant and accurate Customer Data is available for the customer data analysis front end applications (i.e. Faststats or similar customer data analysis tool).

                                                You will be responsible for Database Design and Development; SQL essential and your DBA experience will have been gained from a Direct Marketing/Customer Data environment.
