Key Responsibilities
- Perform complex data analysis in support of ad-hoc and standing customer requests
- Become subject-matter expert in the Inventory areas
- Research new data sources and analytical tools
- Use and support database applications and analytical tools: evaluate data quality, applications, and functions, produce output, maintain operation
- Work cross-functionally to tie Inventory Intelligence output in to the work from other teams
- Design, plan, prioritize, and execute analyses and end to end tests
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of business developments and apply this effectively to enhance the analysis / troubleshoot
- Keep abreast of the upstream data changes to support the analysis and insights.
- Leverage front-end tools like micro strategy for additional reporting and analysis
- Present key findings and recommended actions to executive leaders
Job requirements
- Experience working with large volumes of data and complex data sets
- Expert Excel, PowerPoint skills and database query skills (e.g., SQL); and a good understanding of data warehouse architecture are required. Proficiency with statistical analysis tools (e.g., SAS, SPSS) or Machine Learning techniques is a plus.
- Strong academic profile with an emphasis on quantitative coursework (e.g., degree in Mathematics/Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Econometrics or Engineering).
- 3-5 years relevant experience
- Strong communication skills and experience distilling and presenting complex quantitative analysis both orally and in writing
- Strong analytical, problem solving and technical skills
