Participate in a cross-functional, team environment as a key member of the Project ONE team responsible for implementation and support of DFA�s SAP ECC 6.0, Business Warehouse, Solution Manger and Enterprise Portal environments.

This person will be instrumental in shaping the technical underpinnings of a planned, company-wide SAP adoption and establishing a stable, robust, ongoing SAP environment. This position requires both leadership and technical expertise in the specifics of SAP Basis (setup, usage, applicability, maintenance, updates, etc.), providing guidance and insights about the nature of and implementation of SAP Basis to the implementation teams, end users, IT specialists, Systems Integrator(s), and other internal and external resources.

Perform in both an individual contributor role and team lead role, doing hands-on work to undertake the implementation and ongoing maintenance of Basis, plus overseeing and managing outsourced aspects such as installation and upgrades associated with the SAP environment, system copy and client copy actions, supporting Pack/Kernel patching, performance monitoring and tuning, testing of SAP related products, configuring SAP parameters and screens, high availability assurance, user and security management, etc.

Serve as Lead Administrator of SAP Basis and overall infrastructure support. Supervise other Basis resources, oversee and monitor potential external resources that might be utilized for further Basis administration.
Requirements
Knowledge/Skills/Experience Required:
3+ years as a supervisor or Team Lead, having managed other technical specialists and also established stable, robust systems environments
Strong knowledge of: SAP Netweaver platform ECC, BW, Business Objects, Enterprise Portal, Solution Manager and HP Quality Center
Certifications and/or advanced training in SAP, particularly in SAP Basis and affiliated SAP elements
Experience working in a large-scale, company-wide SAP environment, and experience with a pre-configured SAP solution is a plus
Proficient in interacting with and creating a collaborative working environment amongst and with I.T. technical staff, non-technical end-users, and multiple levels of management
Very strong knowledge of SAP landscape and system architecture
Experience in setup of SAP landscape and environment
Experience in sizing SAP landscape
Experience in setup of SAP ABAP and Java WAS using a four and/or five system landscape approach
Experience in maintenance of existing SAP systems (transports, patching, notes, etc.)
