This will be only DBA supporting TX, PA, LA and KS
Job Responsibilities:
Administers, maintains, develops and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the company*s databases
Reviews database change requests
Identifies and documents weaknesses in design an process
Researches and writes technical recommendations
Creates/Executes Test plans
Creates project plans and implementation checklists
Mentors Level I and II Administrators
Researches and recommends upgrades, patches, new applications and equipment
Provides consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top level contributor/specialist
Analyzes and resolves end user database access problems in a timely and accurate fashion.
Be available 24/7
McCola Exact, Crystal Reports, Maintenance connection
Doing things like index adds, SQL queries, code migration, some development is a plus
Work with the network team, virtual servers
7-10 years work experience
Production Support experience a MUST
Someone who is a self starter, proactive, team player
