Support the development and maintenance of databases for various models

Develop highly detailed simulation database scenarios for various models

Integrate disparate models by developing interfaces and a common simulation framework

Follow full life-cycle development methodology, from initial design through implementation and support

Consult, design, program and implement templates, tools, and processes to allow for rapid development of models using current and emerging development technologies

Mentor and inspire junior modeling and simulation programmers

Mentor and lead a small team to meet project tasks and objectives

Envision and explain how technology can be used to improve processes in new and innovative ways

working knowledge in developing C/C++ and/or Java within Linux and Windows

Strong SQL skills

Demonstrated ability to develop plans, execute, assess, and adjust, evaluate, and report with little supervision.

Must be able to work in a fast paced environment where multiple projects are being developed simultaneously.

Excellent leadership, time management and interpersonal skills.

Ability to mentor and lead a small team to meet project tasks and objectives.

Ability to envision and explain how technology can be used to improve processes in new and innovative ways.

Group facilitation and presentation experience is a plus.

Ability to write/prepare operational orders, plans, mission support requests, field reports, and other necessary documents.
