The primary purpose and function of the
Equipment Repair Coordinator is to repair medical equipment,
perform preventive
maintenance, and coordinate medical equipment maintenance and repair needs
promptly and cost effectively.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
Repair
and perform preventive maintenance on medical equipment, including Scil ABC
blood analyzer units.
Assist in
the maintenance of the repair parts inventory.
Troubleshoot repairs of medical equipment
through manufacturer manual and/ or work experience.
Track
medical equipment assets and associated details when on-site.
Use best
judgment and facilitate teamwork to support the medical equipment team; Assist
with special medical equipment projects as needed.
Maintain
positive relations with CTS associates.
Other job

SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS

to work at a work bench for long periods of time.
Project
timelines and work volume / deadlines may often require more than 40 hours per
week to complete essential duties of this job.

mental processes for reasoning, remembering, mathematics and language ability
(reading, writing, and speaking the English language) to perform the duties
proficiently.
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or the equivalent
combination of education, training and experience that provides the required
knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Medical
background (veterinary technician, human healthcare, pharmaceutical, etc.) with
medical terminology training, and experience in a Human or Veterinary setting
preferred.
Excellent
mechanical aptitude required. Experience repairing or working with medical or
dental equipment preferred.
A minimum
of one to three years relevant professional experience required, with medical
or dental equipment repair or troubleshooting through manufacturer manual
preferred.
