Education Assistant - Training Programs

You will be responsible for providing administration and support to trainees as well as assistance to specialised committees of physicians that oversee the programs. You will be a good all-rounder with the capacity and willingness to take on a range of tasks.

This is an excellent opportunity to begin your administration, health or education career, and is also an ideal role for someone with admin experience who wishes to learn about and deliver value to important health education services.

Key tasks include:

Responding to enquiries relating to Training Programs
Maintenance of database records
Despatching information packages for trainees and new Fellows
Assisting with organising the accreditation of training sites
Organising meetings for Education Committees
Processing applications and preparation of correspondence
General office duties, including photocopying, filing, faxing and despatching of mail

To be successful in this role you will have:

Relevant tertiary education
Effective written and oral communication skills
A commitment to professional client service
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to prioritise and manage deadlines
Recognition of requirements for confidentiality
Ability to work flexibly and demonstrate initiative within a team environment
Proficiency in the use of MSWord, excel, email and the use of databases
