Under general supervision, the Software Developer (Microsoft .NET) designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs new and existing software systems and/or applications for market sale or large-scale proprietary software for internal use primarily using .NET technologies in a fast-paced team environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

·         Develop user facing applications using .NET technologies (C#)

·         Technical expert; participate in the full software development life cycle including requirements analysis and design

·         Consult directly with end users to gather project requirements, refine, test and debug applications

·         Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements

·         Support, maintain, and document software functionality

·         Identify and evaluate new technologies for implementation

·         Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed

·         Develop with a ‘security first’ mindset

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

·         Work under general supervision with latitude for independent judgment. May consult with senior peers on certain projects

·         Excellent knowledge of the .NET framework (version 3.5+)

·         Excellent knowledge of Web Services (SOAP) using the WCF platform.

·         Knowledge of ASP.NET and/or MVC (version 3.5+)

·         Knowledge of stored procedures on Microsoft SQL

·         College degree or 3+ years’ experience with the .NET framework

·         Experience with payment processing is a plus

·         Excellent written and communication skills
