Specific responsibilities include:
·
Troubleshoots, repairs, and modifies production electrical components,
parts, equipment, and systems
·
Discusses assembly procedures and problems with Product Engineer to
clarify functional criteria of electrical units.
·
Aids in the design, build and operator training for electronic test
equipment.
·
Responsible for all electronic testing safety equipment, guarding,
procedures and training.
·
Recommends changes in circuitry or installation specifications to
simplify assembly and maintenance.
·
Sets up standard test apparatus of devises test equipment and circuitry
to conduct functional and operational tests to evaluate performance and
reliability of production model.
·
Analyzes and interprets test data.
·
Adjusts, calibrates, aligns, and modifies electronic test equipment.
·
Maintains production test data base.
·
Evaluates production test failures and recommends corrective action.
·
Provides production technical support for electrical wiring issues.
Skills and Abilities:
·
Strong electrical aptitude and ability
·
Strong organizational and communication skills
·
Strong work ethic, attention to quality and sense of urgency
·
Ability to work independently
Education and/or Experience
·
Minimum of Associates Degrees (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college
or technical school in Electronics or Engineering Technology or related
technical degree and/or five years experience.
