Through a consultative sales approach on the
telephone, you will guide and help customers toward the correct and desired
tools and services we offer.
In addition to dealing with incoming enquiries,
you will be responsible for calling leads generated by Marketing and to
proactively call into the customer base to increase sales revenue.
Responsibility to meet monthly and quarterly
revenue objectives from the sale of SPSS software and services
Qualification of customer needs using a
predefined departmental sales methodology
Providing written quotations and marketing
materials to meet and support customer requirements
As a result of incoming and outgoing sales
activities, create and maintain customer contact information, lead and
opportunities, within the SPSS Contact Management system.
Plan proactive activities and execute on it
based on a territory plan
Provide accurate and timely forecasts
An ongoing requirement of the role will be to
take on some responsibility for presenting at and assisting with seminars and
exhibitions
The role demands:
Responsibility to meet and exceed monthly and
quarterly revenue targets from the sale of SPSS software and services via
telephone, web, and email enquiries, as well as self-driven business
development
Build a proactive business plan to develop new
sales from personally driven sales campaigns
Forecast accurately, based on realistic
opportunity assessments, and in line with internal forecasting guidelines
Provide written quotations, seminars, web
seminars, and marketing materials to meet and support customer requirements
Excellent qualifying skills. To suit the fast
pace of this business it is essential to qualify in and out quickly and
diligently
Establish and maintain professional and external
relationships that meet our core values
At least 5 years experience in history of recent
and consistent achievement against quota within the Technology sector - ideally
between 3 and 5 years experience

Consistent track record for developing new
business and managing a complete sales cycle from generating leads to closing

Required
Bachelor's Degree
At least 3 years experience in a natural ability
to interface with clients over the phone and provide a highly professional
level of customer service

sales experience, preferably in a high-tech/software environment
At least 3 years experience in excellent written
and verbal communication
At least 3 years experience in an understanding
of statistics or predictive analytics software is an advantage
At least 3 years experience in history of recent
and consistent achievement against quota within the technology sector - ideally
between 3 and 5 years of experience
At least 3 years experience in good
understanding of analytics solutions (for example, predictive analytics,
business intelligence, data mining, CRM analytics, consumer insight
applications, and so on) and a proven capability of pr
