is responsible for managing Tier 1 ISP levels of Internet traffic, building new
networks for data centers all around the world
and supporting a network infrastructure
for communication between thousands of servers. Our ultimate mission is to
supply seamless connectivity for end-to-end delivery of our users' mission
critical data through our application infrastructure, providing the 'Always On,
Always Connected' BlackBerry experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful
candidate's responsibilities will include:
Build, secure and
support Cisco based network of the Blackberry service globally
Work with design and
test team on deployment of various projects and network solutions
Support large amounts
of Internet connectivity
Support internal
network infrastructure including MPLS backbone and many routers, switches,
firewalls and load balancers
Support of this
mission critical environment will require maintenance work to be performed in
off peak maintenance windows and participation in a 24x7 on call rotation
schedule
Travel may be required
from time to time
Qualifications
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND
QUALIFICATIONS
University degree or
equivalent in Computing preferred
4+ years of data
network experience in large complex enterprise network environment
Extensive hands on
experience in configuring, troubleshooting and resolving network problems
Advanced levels of
core routing and switching technologies, including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, STP,
HSRP/VRRP
Experience in managing
requirements for multi-homed Internet environment
Good understanding of
MPLS label protocols, including LDP, RSVP and BGP VPNv4
Load balancing
experience utilizing F5 LTM/GTM or Cisco CSS/CSM
Firewall configuration
and troubleshooting experience
Experience in
packet/protocol analysis tools such as Netflow, Sniffer or Ethereal
Experience working
within a structured incident/change management environment
