Maintenance Engineer
The main purpose of this role is to work as part
of a multi-disciplinary team of engineers to maintain production equipment and
services. Within this role your main responsibilities will include attending
and rectifying breakdown situations, implementing planned maintenance
procedures and investigating recurring failures. You will also be expected to
assist colleagues to improve their working knowledge of plant and equipment,
periodically review maintenance schedules, provide information for the purchase
of spare parts and attend and participate at review meetings.
The successful candidate will have worked within
a similar role previously and will hold a relevant recognised qualification.
Experience of working within a food production environment would be
advantageous although this is not essential. Highly organised, you will be capable
of planning and prioritising an ever changing workload and you will be skilled
at fault finding along with installing new equipment. Flexible in your
approach, you must be able to work to deadlines and you will be a strong team
player who understands the importance of complying with health and safety
policies.
