Sr. Software Engineer - Control Development
Software engineer for machine control within the
software team of the banknote processing division to develop new innovative
solutions for the cash cycle automation.
Software development within a team in a
development project
Understand requirements, system and software
architectures, interfaces and software architecture quality attributes
Develop machine control software designs in
alignment with the requirements and the software architecture in close
collaboration with the software architect
Implement features and develop automated tests
for your area of responsibility
Estimate and track the effort of your areas of
responsibility
Desired Candidate Profile:
Experienced UML and State Modeling
Programming: C (C++);
Experience in development of machine control
software for embedded / mechatronical systems (worked in technical projects,
ideally machine development projects consisting of mechanics, electronics and
real-time machine control software)
Working knowledge in control and feedback
control techniques for motor control (BLDC / Stepper), Real-Time aspects, State
Machines, Performance, Unit Testing, messaging and multithreading.
Operating System: Working knowledge of an
real-time operating system; Programming: C; Development Tools: Knowledge of an
integrated development environment for μController (like KEIL μVision or
similar), version control, UML Design Tools (like Enterprise Architect or
similar)
Hands on experience – 32bit ARM/Cortex based
microcontrollers & peripherals (I2C, SPI, CAN, ADC, DAC, DMA)
