IT Generalist-Data Analyst

Responsibilities

Data Analysis
 Design and implement data queries to gather needed information, performing ad-hoc queries to meet business requirements.
 Document all report requirements, data sources used and recommend application for meeting user needs
 Demonstrated success in Data Mining, Analysis, and Presentation

Network/Infrastructure Support
 Provide support to end users on a variety of IT issues
 Identify, research, and resolve technical problems
 Teach and train end users in group settings and individually
 Experience in Microsoft Networking environment with the ability to install and maintain servers, computers, printer and other devices on the network
 Experience with reliable system back up and disaster recovery

Software and Systems Support
 Assist in maintaining all business software systems: ERP, Accounting, etc. (all SQL based)
 Assist in maintaining corporate web sites and email systems
 Active involvement in new system(s) conversion and implementation

The ideal candidate will be able to wear many hats. Your experience must be strong in all areas of IT such as: software, hardware and network. You must be a strong communicator and patient to be successful in this role. Your thorough attention to detail, superb analytical skills, exceptional follow-through and organizational abilities will be fully utilized.

Education and Experience
 A Bachelors degree or equivalent experience is required.
 Five or more years of applicable IT experience is essential
 Strong SQL skills – data querying, data manipulation, design/create reports
 Must be proficient with SQL Server 2008, Crystal Reports, Visual Basic, VB Scripting
 Microsoft Office Sharepoint Services experience desired
 Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
 Attention to detail with a passion for accuracy and personal accountability
 Must also be a strong team player

Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
