The client is a well recognised player in the multimedia and digital entertainment industry and is seeking a C++ Software Developer with  real-time and multi-threaded programming skills to join the organisation.

The programming environment will be a mixture of real-time Linux and Unix platforms, and a background in client/server programming and network programming is expected. Although not necessary, the ideal candidate will have GUI and/or Web GUI programming experience. This is due to the requirements of a new project that requires user interfaces to be designed for newly released multi-media streaming products.

Essential Skills and Knowledge:

Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant disciplines
3+ years in C++ programming
Strong ability to develop real-time and multi-threaded code
Ability to demonstrate creative flair in GUI design is a big plus
Documented experience in programming in real-time Linux/Unix environments
