Required Certifications: Windows Server 2003 and 2008R2, Windows SQL Database, SharePoint 2007, Exchange 2007 or 2010, VMWare. Sercurity certification required within 4 months from the start date.
Required Skills: Working knowledge of the capabilities of applicable computer hardware configurations and the SQL DB maintenance, management of exchange servers, virtualized hosts and the functionality of SharePoint and Portal Administration.
Responsible for providing computer support operations including, but not limited to, computer operations, production control, data entry, remote job entry, tape library, etc. Installs, maitains, and upgrades Oss and applications for the Microsoft Advanced Server and client environment. Assist developer/vendor in loading and tegrating applications onto Windows 2003 and 2008R2 servers. Performs backups, monitors site traffic and helps scale site capacity to meet traffic demands. Assist in development and implementation of policies and procedures, load and performance monitoring, hardware provisioning, hardware and software installation, configuration and maintenance. Plans, organize, directs and controls computer systems operations. Maintains file systems integrity. Proactively monitors all software and systems. Provide on-call support to server outages. Understands, adheres to and implements overall security and configuration policies. Work directly with Applications users, outside vendors and Service Centers to provide user support in resolving application trouble tickets. Assist with Windows 2003 and 2008R2 software releases and monthly system maintenance to include security patches. Indentifies processing requirements and schedules job streams for computer runs. Provide application System Administration support to include accounts creation, management and deletion. Candidates should have a thorough knowledge of the capabilities and applicable computer hardware configuration. Should have a good understanding of SQL DB maintenance; management of exchange servers; virtualized hosts; and functionality of SharePoint and portal administration.

Essential Job Functions
Analyzes, logs, tracks and resolves complex software/hardware matters of significance pertaining to networking connectivity issues, printer, servers, and applications to meet business needs.
Coordinates hardware/software installations and upgrades to ensure work is properly performed in accordance with company policy. Recommends resolution to complex matters of significance and coordinates the implementation of the approved course of action.

Coordinates and monitors troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common system problems; documents system events to ensure continuous functioning. Recommends course of action and implements as approved.
Oversees the installation of client department-specific applications and systems. Ensures installations are in accordance with appropriate operating procedures; determines revisions or updates to installation as needed.
Coordinates testing, upgrades and configuration of system files and services. Ensures changes are in accordance with appropriate operating procedures; recommends revisions or changes based upon results. Prepares for and prescribes approaches to possible downstream implications.
Utilizes standard corporate tools to record change and problem activities for tracking purposes.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related field preferred
Four or more years of experience with computer systems or networking
Experience working with computer hardware for installation and upgrades
Experience working with software installation/upgrading procedures
Experience working with file and system maintenance procedures

Good organization skills to balance and prioritize work, and multitask
Good analytical and problem solving skills to troubleshoot systems problems
Good communication skills to communicate with support personnel, customers, and managers
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
