Engineering risk role
This global Oil and Gas organisation have a requirement for an experienced Risk Engineer to join them in their downstream operations.

You will report directly to the Engineering Manager and be responsible for driving risk through the engineering and standards division and up skilling colleagues when necessary.

You will ideally be a qualified Chemical Engineer with demonstrable experience in a risk and safety engineering role within the hydrocarbon industry.

Senior Staff Electrical Engineer

Serve as an interface between development teams and segment (product) engineering. Analyze specifications, create schematics, perform electrical analysis and simulations and support printed circuit board layout. conduct electrical and software validation tests. Develop and publish technical specification reports. Attend customer visits and support production in Guadalajara and Juarez for electronic and software issues. Synchronize development process between local development (ABH & CHT) and electronic and software development. Travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.

Necessary Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with 5-10 years of experience in analog and digital circuit design and testing. Strong problem solving and multi-tasking skills. Proficiency in MS word, excel, and powerpoint. Ability for effective written and oral communication with engineering, manufacturing, management, customers and suppliers.
Additional requirements: Knowledge of ECAD tools( e.g. Mentor, Zuken, P-Spice, Saber) and LabView. Knowledge of EMI, software development process, elctronic interface (e.g. CAN, LIN, PWM). Experience with cross-functional teams. Advance degree is a plus.

Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor's college degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) as well as a minimum of 5 years experience in the development of rolling element bearings or vehicle chassis systems utilizing rolling element bearings. Qualified candidates will have an excellent command of engineering principles – materials, machine design, statics, dynamics, and APQP documentation requirements.  Qualified candidates must have solid working knowledge of test techniques, instrumentation, and test planning.  Candidates must be able to demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills as well as strong organizational skills.  Microsoft Office proficiency is required.

The Java Developer will be expected to work closely and collaboratively with the client to develop Client Business Applications using the Java Enterprise Edition (J2EE) platform. Primarily the role will involve:
Translating client system requirement documents such as Use Cases and User Specifications into J2EE Web Applications;
Development of J2EE Web and Portlet based applications using the IBM WebSphere Portal Server and IBM WebSphere Application Server;
Application of coding standards to all produced source code;
Use of client endorsed framework such as Spring, Hibernate JSR-168 Portlet specification, Spring Webflow, Maven build system and the J-Unit Test framework;
Participate in code review sessions and workshops as required.

Ideally candidates will be able to demonstrate:
Several years experience working as a Developer and working with Java
Spring framework experience including inversion control, Aspects, Spring Application context configuration and development.
IBM WebSphere 6.0 or a later Portal and Application Servers
Apache hibernate framework;
A strong understanding and experience using Unit Testing tools, preferably one of the following Agitar, J-Unit, J-Meter, HTTP-Unit
