Senior Staff Electrical Engineer
Serve as an interface between development teams and segment (product) engineering. Analyze specifications, create schematics, perform electrical analysis and simulations and support printed circuit board layout. conduct electrical and software validation tests. Develop and publish technical specification reports. Attend customer visits and support production in Guadalajara and Juarez for electronic and software issues. Synchronize development process between local development (ABH & CHT) and electronic and software development. Travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.
Necessary Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with 5-10 years of experience in analog and digital circuit design and testing. Strong problem solving and multi-tasking skills. Proficiency in MS word, excel, and powerpoint. Ability for effective written and oral communication with engineering, manufacturing, management, customers and suppliers.
Additional requirements: Knowledge of ECAD tools( e.g. Mentor, Zuken, P-Spice, Saber) and LabView. Knowledge of EMI, software development process, elctronic interface (e.g. CAN, LIN, PWM). Experience with cross-functional teams. Advance degree is a plus.
