Engineer, with proven track record in RF, tools and technologies such as GSM/2G, and UMTS/3G. Has an understanding or an experience in design and performance of inbuilding and outdoor (i/o) distributed antenna systems (DAS). Possess high level understanding of LTE, Wi-Fi, and core/transport networking concepts such as RNC, MSC, gateways, ATM, IP, Ethernet, routers, etc.Responsibilities include, but not limited to, following key areas: Develop, implement and maintain engineering design, optimization and acceptance standards and processes for i/o DAS. This would include, but not limited to, topics such as, develop design and optimization Workflow Processes; Coverage and Capacity design requirements/calculations; Field Testing such as Benchmarking, Site walk/survey, CW testing; Antenna/DAS vendor selection criteria; Preliminary, Intermediate and Final Design Conditional and Final Acceptance;Collaborate with other National RAN teams such as RF, V&E, LTE, etc.Develop a training course material focusing around DAS engineering, tools and technologies. Provide Tier-III support/recommendation to regional and market teams for both DAS solution and Technology vendors, such as ALU, Ericsson, NSN, ADC/LGC, Andrew, Mobile Access, Powerwave, etc.Assisting internal teams with venue prioritization for funding.
