Sr. Network Administrator - Job Code: CIK-1696

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems, and replace defective components when necessary

Ensure that all workstation and client security systems are maintained as required by specific software policies

Recommend changes to improve systems and network configurations, and determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes

Perform nightly network system/data structure back-ups, as well as system/data recovery operations as required

Repair or replace malfunctioning, in-use, workstations within one working day, and order replacement parts/machines within one week if workstation is under warranty

Analyze, research, diagnose & resolve complex system issues, including hardware, software & networking; as well as, associated help desk requests not resolvable by other support staff

Operate master consoles to monitor the performance of computer systems and networks, and to coordinate computer network access and use

Perform routine network startup and shutdown procedures, and maintain control records

Employ workstation- and server-installed administrative tools to operate, configure, manage and/or monitor client/server systems, including Windows Exchange 2003, Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition, ScanMail for Exchange, and Veritas or Ultrabac Backup

Configure, optimize, document & monitor system hardware & software

Gather data pertaining to customer needs, and use the information to identify, predict, interpret, and evaluate system and network requirements

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent; in IT field desired.

Minimum 8 years of experience with 5 years in Windows 2000/2003 administration.

A+ Certified, Microsoft Certified Network Administrators (MCSA NT4.0 and/or 200x) with two years experience directly supporting PC workstations, client/server and systems, and PC applications in a complex professional environment utilizing integrated electronic process support applications and systems.

Strong knowledge of Windows 2000/2003 server environment and Active Directory, design, implementation, administration and troubleshooting

Enterprise data center design and maintenance experience

Strong knowledge of TCP IP Networking and other network protocols

Experience performing with system backups and data protection with tools such as Veritas Backup Exec and Symantec Antivirus

Demonstrated experience using IIS/HTML, Dreamweaver, Coldfusion

Experience directly supporting Windows Servers 2003 and/or SQL Server, MS Exchange 2003, Red Hat Linux, Vista, XP, and Mac Operating Systems.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience writing installation qualifications, operational qualifications, and performance production qualifications

Ability to effectively document and communicate status of daily tasks

Ability to balance a varied workload and work independently as well as within a team environment

Ability to effectively interact with personnel at all levels in a dynamic work environment is required.

Position Summary

Schedules and organizes complex activities that may include meetings, department activities, travel, and/or conferences for all members of the departments as well as attendees from multiple locations.
When needed, covers front desk and assists with packages and mail distribution; meets and greets departmental visitors.
Other duties as assigned; Job duties may vary by location.

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must have knowledge of office administrative procedures, and knowledge of use and operation of standard office equipment, at a level generally acquired through a minimum of two years related experience.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, Outlook.
Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.
Efficiency and judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize diversified workload in a fast paced environment.

The Production Supervisor assists the Plant Director in managing production activities on the 3rd shift to ensure a continuous flow of quality product.  The primary responsibilies include:
Plan, direct and coordinate production process to ensure a continuous flow of quality products that met or exceed daily production requirements while maintaining quality and safety standards
Complete daility production documentation and maintain employees schedules and electronic timecards
Ensure faciliy meets or exceeds safety and sanitation guidelines and regulations
Assists with the coordination, selection, motivation and development of personnel to ensure all positions are staffed and a succession plan is in place.
Conduct employee performance reviews and ensure tasks are performed according to SOP's
Review quality control issues with QA department on a daily basis
Participate in magement and safety meetings; conduct accident investigations
Establish and maintain effective working relationships and two-way communcations with personnel throughout the plant.

Requirements
Qualified applicants should have a minimum of 5 years of previous manufacturing, management experience.  Previous experience in the food industry preferred.  Experience with the following computer systems helpful; WM, SAP and ADP payroll.

Design analog/digital circuits using CAD tools (schematic capture, simulation and layout)
