Strong manual testing skills.

- Experience in identifying and writing test cases, test script preparation from functional designs, test execution.

- Experience in defect reporting and defect tracking.

- Knowledge of QA processes. (Preferred)

- Functional acceptance testing, System testing, User acceptance testing, database testing , defect reporting and management.

- Conducts a wide range of quality control tests and analyses to ensure that the software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements.

Experience in following areas is preferred:

- Cards and banking domain.

- Has worked in multi-cultural distributed development projects.

- Specific knowledge about Card Industry and experience from International Credit Card Organization processing / banking application preferable.

- Technical skills:

Knowledge of Basic AS/400, SQL commands and query tools.

- Energetic with strong communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.

- Should be proactive, having a very good attitude towards ad-hoc testing.

- Conducts a wide range of quality control tests and analyses to ensure that the software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements.

- If needed, should be able to drafts and revise test plans and scripts to ensure alignment with IT standards.

- Contribute to user acceptance testing and system testing for release.

- Should be able to work independently.

Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor's college degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) as well as a minimum of 5 years experience in the development of rolling element bearings or vehicle chassis systems utilizing rolling element bearings. Qualified candidates will have an excellent command of engineering principles – materials, machine design, statics, dynamics, and APQP documentation requirements.  Qualified candidates must have solid working knowledge of test techniques, instrumentation, and test planning.  Candidates must be able to demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills as well as strong organizational skills.  Microsoft Office proficiency is required.

Testing professionals utilize Accenture delivery assets to plan and implement testing and quality assurance initiatives to ensure solution quality before deployment.

Technical Testing professionals apply Accenture methods and other assessment procedures to identify system defects prior to deployment.

An Analyst Programmer/Senior Software Engineer contributes to the development, delivery and maintenance of technology-based business solutions.  He/she is skilled in designing, coding, testing, and implementing configuration changes to software applications to meet both functional and technical requirements.  He/she will have oversight responsibility for the technology solution and may assist in the development of the team.

Key responsibilities may include:

Manage on-shore and off-shore activities
Track and coordinate testing and related activities for assigned projects
Create release work plan, including estimating level of efforts, establishing key milestones, allocating resources, tracking actuals
Managing team to the release plan through the entire software development life cycle (SDLC).
Measure and monitor progress during each test phase to ensure that the project is tested, validated, and released on time
Coordinate defect creation, tracking, and run the daily defect meeting
Follow-up with client development teams to provide the necessary information for defect resolution
Participate in quality management reviews
Designing, coding and testing program modules
Maintaining, tuning and repairing applications; performing preventive maintenance activities; providing user support

Qualifications

Exp: 0 to 5 Years experience with any of the following: testing methodology; test planning and execution; performance testing and tuning; assembly/product testing; regression testing; performance testing; automated testing tools and reports.
Minimum 1 year experience using Automation Tools (i.e. QTP, Mercury Suite - WinRunner etc.)
Experience testing in Banking or Financial Services applications, Capital Markets, Market Risk or Credit Risk application experience required

Preferred skills

Development experience (i.e. Java, Cobol, Visual Basic, SQL, HTML, JSP etc.)
Experience in writing queries in SQL and/or Oracle and VB scripts
Experience with Unix
Experience with Autosys
Experience in handling multiple projects.
Experience with all phases of software development Life Cycle.
Experience working with onshore/offshore teams
