Civil construction manager

This Construction Manager position represents a unique opportunity in that the successful applicant will enjoy a portfolio of established projects and clients, with scope to develop new opportunities across the civil, mining, and LNG sectors.


To be successful in this role you will need to have a minimum of fifteen years experience in Civil Engineering Construction, with at least 5 of these being at a Construction (or Area) Management level. You will have an in-depth understanding of the construction sector, and will preferably possess major project experience across Department of Main Roads and mining infrastructure projects.


Candidates with the following project exposure will he highly regarded:

Earthworks (bulk and detailed)
Roadworks (DMR and Haul/Access Roads associated with mine and LNG developments)
Dams, evaporation ponds and/or tailings dams
Early works for industrial developments
Creek Diversions
Drainage
Water supply
Further to this you will possess skills in:

Management of staff, subcontractors and project stakeholders
Cost control and financial management
Contract Administration
Estimating and tendering experience.
Developing existing and new business opportunities
