An opportunity has arisen for a Healthcare Business Development Manager / Healthcare Project Manager to join their team.
This role would suit a dynamic professional with technical project development and leadership experience from the healthcare sector, looking to develop their career with an award winning company.
As a Healthcare Business Development Manager / Healthcare Project Manager, you will be responsible for developing our client's healthcare diagnostics business - one of their major industry sectors.
In this key role, you will identify strategic areas suitable for marketing campaigns. Working alone, you will generate leads by networking and attending conferences. Your key focus will be arranging first meetings to nurture and qualify prospects and assisting technical specialists to write proposals and close sales.
To be considered for the role of Healthcare Business Development Manager / Healthcare Project Manager, you must have:
- A 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in biochemistry, microbiology, molecular biology or immunology
- Extensive technical project development and leadership experience in the healthcare sector
- A proven track record of selling new product development or technology consultancy contracts (ideally to blue chip and start-up companies in the healthcare diagnostic sector)
Additionally, you must have a proven ability to network efficiently and generate business over the phone, positively and successfully for extended periods.
