Development, implementation and management of quality assurance and quality control systems across construction, commissioning, start-up and operations
Establish the quality system requirements for contractors and subcontractors
Develop and implement the project audit schedules, verification plans and assurance plans
Conduct external and internal quality audits and participate in the selection of quality system requirements for suppliers
Oversee bid evaluations and post-award reviews and approval of supplier quality system documentation
Oversee the QA and QC budget in accordance with the annual budgeting cycle and coordinate third party inspectorates
Work in conjunction with HR to identify QA/ QC resources required and assist in the selection process
Deliver presentations and reports to senior management and relevant stakeholders
As the successful candidate, your background and qualifications will include:
Relevant tertiary qualifications in quality assurance/ engineering or similar
Extensive experience working within a similar capacity across the entire project lifecycle of significant Oil & Gas projects, preferably with an operating company or prominent EPCM
Fully conversant with NDE techniques such as PHASED ARRAY, TOFD, UT and an in-depth knowledge of MPI, DPI and Radiography
Strong understanding of relevant compliance codes and standards and a working knowledge of ISO9001
Strong writing, interfacing, assurance process and system setup capabilities/ expertise
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to foster longstanding relationships with key stakeholders
