Main Accountabilities:
Responsible for Staff Management, including planning, coaching and career development.
Critically review forecast information to ensure accurate cost reporting for areas of responsibility
Review monthly Management Reports prior to distribution to Senior Client staff
Ensure controls and procedures comply with the QCD and SOX.
Support the preparation of annual budgets, internal and external.
Work closely with service and support team to ensure an effective overall service is delivered.
Involved in SAP maintenance
Approve monthly tariff invoices/accruals and review various tariff reports. Ensure invoices are being raised in line with agreements
Prepare monthly tariff reports
Update tariff forecasts for any changes to rates or production.
Co-ordinate the preparation of reports for the half yearly PRT returns
Manage balance sheet integrity for all accounts within area of responsibility.
Liaise with internal/statutory/partner auditors as required.
Actively participate and take lead in the Continuous Improvement Programme

Dimensions / Targets:
The position is part of a team of 16, comprising a Senior Accountant, 4 Accountants, 9 Assistant Accountants, 1 Senior Accounts Assistants and 1 Accounts Assistant.
The position is based in Talisman House co-located with Talisman Staff.
Qualifications
Skills, knowledge & experience:
Qualified accountant or significant relevant joint venture experience.
Previous joint venture accounting experience essential.
SAP R3 and Excel experience essential.
Good technical knowledge of financial and management accounting.
Breadth of basic and industry specific accounting & financial controls knowledge essential.
Good verbal, written and interpersonal skills with all levels of staff.
Experience of InfoCore forecasting tool desirable.
Proactive, requiring minimum supervision.
The ability to work as part of a team and be flexible.
Provides guidance to, and shares knowledge with, colleagues or team members relating to own area of specialization.
Analytical approach with ability to interpret and articulate results.
Enthusiastic and innovative.
