Instructs customers in the proper operation of servicing locomotives and power product applications while on runs, in special meetings or training sessions.Administers unit service policy and procedures.Represents EMD in the delivery of new equipment and secures signatures on necessary release documents for locomotives.Inspects all products both before and after servicing.Effectively troubleshoot and repair all mechanical and electrical systems of a locomotive. Maintain safe practices and good housekeeping.Maintain records on work and modifications performed and analyze data and report results.Ensure all governmental agency inspection requirements and/or procedures are accounted for and 
documented.Makes special observation of locomotives performance and prepares written report after each run.Maintains product and technical competence.Reports significant or developing service problems to higher management.Plans itinerary and controls expenses.
