Being 100% channel driven and having one of the best Partner programs in the industry, we need candidates that will help deliver this message and drive success through both our existing partner base and from bringing on new partners! This role will be focused on enabling our existing partners and showing them the value of everything McAfee has to offer. It will require approx. a 70/30 split in phone based work and traveling to visit top tier partners.

PRIMARY TASKS

You will be responsible for all business that flows through your select partners where you will be doing some of the following:

- Achieve sales quota’s on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- On boarding and enabling new Partners via the phone
- Be the McAfee spokesperson for partner benefits & programs (master the partner pitch)
- Working with top tier partners to grow new business through joint call campaigns and Blitz days.
- Sell to existing customers of McAfee and to new customers
- Outbound call volumes to deliver expected results
- Deliver accurate weekly forecast against your territory for new and existing business
- Pre-plan partner strategy
- Apply McAfee telesales methodology to initiate telephone contact with customers, ascertain buying needs, recommend products and close sale.
- Work within the guidelines set out by the Company’s Code of Practice to ensure that customer satisfaction is achieved
- Effectively utilise the channel in making and fulfilling orders
- Negotiate price
- Prepare quotes that are correctly drafted and submitted for processing as per company requirements
- Ensure that quotes are also raised by partner
- Report on activity and maintains records of sales as required
- Qualify and follow up sales leads
- Close inbound sales calls and generate outbound sales calls
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with channel partners
- Keep up to date knowledge of the industry as well as competitive position of the company
- Utilise CRM tool effectively and to Company’s policy

Qualifications

SELECTION CRITERIA/KEY COMPETENCIES

- Proven track record in exceeding sales quotas and targets
- Able to exercise judgement within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
- Proven experience working with the Channel
- Experience in a dynamic challenging environment with strict deadlines and a performance/achievement culture
- Is abreast of industry trends
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a highly interactive environment
- Evidence of sharing knowledge with peers and working as a member of an effective team
- Is passionate about their work
- Is achievement oriented
- Interacts effectively with others
- Demonstrates a professional phone manner and conduct
- Is able to maintain focus on daily schedule and objectives and effectively set priorities
- Has a good knowledge of McAfee products and the pros and cons of competitors products
- Understands the sales cycle in conjunction with business process externally and internally e.g. signoffs require relationships at all levels

Looking for a minimum of 2 years experience within Inside Sales or Channel Sales
