Reporting to the
Quality Assurance Supervisor, this position ensures finished good product
functionality through the process of procedural testing and verification for
the operation.
1. Pre-test circuit board assemblies or
products of business unit/division
2. Verify product functionality through the
final testing of finished good product.
3. Provide a final cosmetic verification of
finished good product.
4. When necessary diagnose and repair
finished good product (circuit boards ).
5. Accurately create and process required
quality assurance documentation and inventory control
6. Identify issues and communicate
accordingly to resolve issues.
7. Other duties as assigned
Documentation,
processing and completion of the appropriate paperwork (work orders) for
Inventory Control.
3.0 Additional Responsibilities:
· Pulling inventory, assembling and soldering
of all custom PC boards, as needed for assigned and upcoming systems.
· Programming of specific integrated
circuit chips, as needed for controls.
· Final testing of systems before
shipment to customer.
· Proficiency in hand soldering for
through hole and surface mount circuit boar Use of air powered screw-guns,
drills and other hand tools.
4.0 Education,
Knowledge, Skills, Training, and Experience:
· An Associates degree, or
equivalent experience.
· Some college level
coursework or minimum 3 years prior warehouse experience is preferred
· Proficient in the use of
soldering irons and hand power tools.
· Proficient in the use of
electronic testing and measuring devices.
· Able to read wiring
schematics and/or riser diagrams.
· Knowledge of electronic
devices.
· Must have the ability to clearly communicate
both verbally and in writing in the English language
· Must have excellent sight,
hearing and verbal communication skills both in person and on the telephone
along with the eye, hand and body coordination necessary to efficiently operate
any assigned equipment within the department and/or warehouse.
