Engineering Manager
are technical managers, meaning they are very hands on but also manage a small
team of smart engineers.
You will be expected to lead a small team of engineers
and own a component from technology perspective. You will drive the design and
architecture for that component or Product along with architect and designers.
You will work very closely with your team and build our next generation of
these products. As an engineering manager, you will also be working towards
career growth of your team and putting them in the best position to succeed.
Experience Profile-
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent from a top college 8+ years in software
engineering positions 1+ years in software engineering management Ability to
deeply understand and balance the interplay between complex systems software,
demanding product requirements, complex and constantly evolving hardware
installations, and high-performance engineering teams. Depth in at least one
technology- C++/Java, PHP/javaScript, Unix Experience building large scale,
high performance systems Confidence to manage high performance teams and drive
them towards a common goal
